About The Work
I was hired on as a full-time employee in the Marketing and Sales department at Metrolink. This position requires heavy data and analytics, website development and analyzation, and email marketing. In the marketing department, I created new projects and tools which saved tens if not hundred of hours of manual work through automation and optimization.
I created a custom data analytics dashboard which allowed myself and many others to utilize for reports and trend analyzation. Since most of the work previous to this creation was manual, this help speed up reporting for marketing, I.T., and many other departments in need of data. I created custom filters through the use of REGEX codes. The dashboard design was developed from a blank slate, I used my creative eye to make a visually appealing workflow.
My position allowed me to work with many talented people in the I.T. department, consulting on technical projects for different departments alongside I.T. and others. The work that I produced for I.T. gave me a spotlight around my talents and capabilities for the company. The chief executives noticed the extraordinary work I produced and moved me over to the I.T. department from Marketing. With both a talent and knowledge for marketing and tech, I am able to fully grasp initiatives in a unique method.
