About The Work
I was hired on as a full time employee to create and develop a new website for the company. Reporting to the manager of digital marketing, we planned to build a website using the WordPress CMS platform. The WordPress website I developed there would be mobile friendly, customized with many templates for content, and able to capture leads with online forms.
I created a website style guide that helped enable a consistent user interface (UI) throughout the whole website.
The homepage content was curated with content blogs and new information as it became available.
This website required many hours and sometimes days of PHP customization to meet the needs of the users for this website.
After the website was developed, we planned to make many more websites with this base model since it worked so well. One which is still active as of October 18, 2021, Sober College School of Addiction Studies
About The Company
Young adults who were looking for treatment for their addictions could find help with Sober College. This company allowed young adults to attend their addiction counseling while simultaneously taking college credit courses. Many students changed their lives through this program and developed lifelong relationships.
The co-founders Robert and Mindi Pfeifer had a vision of helping those who have trouble helping themselves. Building a unique treatment facility with doctors and counselors on staff, it was an amazing experience to view how this affected people.
Robert Pfeifer was a good man who was able to recognize the talents and potential of everyone around him. He is an inspiration to many people who knew him and even those who only know about his work.
